Dr Piet du Toit is a general practitioner from George in the Garden Route of the Western Cape. He is well-known as a good family practitioner with a sonar background. He views every birth as a miracle and strives to render a sonar service like no other. His motto is: “Safe mother, safe baby. Happy family, happy doctor”.

Dr du Toit was a GP in Welkom from 1988 to 2016. In July 2016, he moved his practice to George. He believes sonar images are an excellent opportunity for parents to become acquainted and bond with their new, incredible little miracle.

His love for helping people made medical studies a natural choice for Dr du Toit. He is passionate about general practice and obstetrics. He enjoys working for himself, which motivated him to venture into private practice.

Dr du Toit’s favourite sport is Cycling. He has done multiple cycling tours which includes the Argus, Cape Epic, 22 Argusse. 9 Trans Baviaans, 5x360 and London to Paris. He mostly enjoys cycling around George and the Garden Route to admire the surrounding beauty of the ocean, mountains, forests and farmlands.
